San Diego Restaurant Reviews (T)

The restaurant reviews on Where2Eat.Com

Trattoria La Bocca
515 5th Ave.
San Diego, CA  92101

(619) 232-3352

Saw the menu, veal list got my immediate attention (sorry, Gnocchi had to wait). Dinner choice for 2 was unexpectedly and absolutely the perfect combination: Pinot Grigio Santa Margherita, Pepperoni Arrostito Ripieni, Insalata Tricolore (perfectly harmonious), Vitello Rossini and Vitello Siciliano (two pieces of the same meat in two completely different dishes!), BEST TIRAMISU IN THE U.S.!!! and a triple chocolate mousse. BAM! We literally cleaned our plates. Our praise to the chef: bravo! Servers will even ask when to bring you the salad. Highly recommended gourmet food, outstanding service, pleasant ambient. So far, the best real Italian food in San Diego. Goda La Bocca! P.S. Food and service is dangerously close to be en pair with Mille Fleurs. No joke.
Food Service Value Atmosphere Experience
Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent Excellent
