Great!, 08-06-2011 By: Reviewer Review: Rocks my socks. That's all you need to know. But if you feel you need to know more, read on. Unassuming place, you'll drive right by it if you dont know better. Come hungry, leave happy...oh wait, that's IHOP. Well, they should relinquish that crown and give it to Azucar. You can come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or just a snack and find something awesome. All sandwiches are on organic bread and toasted on a flat press, panini-style and come with choice of mixed baby greens + citrus vinaigrette or plantain chips + mojo dipping sauce (hint: get the chips!) The people that work there are really nice, and although there isn't much seating inside, you're not coming here for a fancy sit-down meal...take the food elsewhere if there's nowhere to sit. Hell, go to the beach. MUST TRY: -Ham Croquettes for breakfast. They're $1 each. Buy as many as they have. They sell out. Soooo good (the taste, not the selling out part). -Havana sandwich for lunch- Oven roasted turkey breast, cream cheese, and guava marmalade. Whah? Mmmm -Mojito -lime and mint cookie. -Key lime tart: Graham cracker crust, topped with vanilla créme fraiche and a green polka dot shard - HOLY BALLS! seal of approval- Pretzel Perfecto: Pretzel cookie crust, peanut butter cream cheese filling, topped with chocolate ganache and chocolate dipped pretzels Date of visit: 2011 Reviewer Name: Adam Jakowenko Food: Excellent Service: Very Good Value: Good Ambiance: Needs Improvement Overall Experience: Very Good |
