Hidden little gem, 12-14-2010

Found it by accident! This place is tucked away on Fay with cute little tables that would be great for a private cabana type party!

I had purchased one of those Daily Deals from Sign on San Diego & boy am I glad I did! My girlfriends & I found a little piece of heaven in La Jolla. Ordered a little saki to start & Sushi Combo #3 (16 pieces for $13 - not bad). We moved onto a Hawaiian roll (very light & fresh) & a Tidal wave roll (our fave - lemon/cilantro combo) - yummy & all very delicious. We finished off with a Tropical roll (eel/avocado)& tempura battered banana) - a cool combination. All of these dishes & saki for a $54 with tax. Not bad at all. The have specials like $1.95 hand rolls or from 4-6 certain rolls are 1/2 price on Mondays. You have to check their daily specials!

I'm looking forward to coming back!
